From the Manufacturer April 7, 2020 "We do not use fiberglass in any of our materials. The same filter frame is used for all of our filter options that we manufacture. This saves us money as we don't print a different frame for each of our 10+ options that we offer. We can use the same 20x20x1 frame to make our Pure Carbon, Pure Green filters and any of our MERV rated filters. We only produce one type of option at a time, so we know exactly which MERV will be packaged when it leaves the production line. Our MERV 14 filters feature a white high-loft medium with an eggshell border. By using the same frame, we can reduce labor costs because there is no need to change the frame for each type of filter when manufacturing. We also save on inventory costs as we have hundreds of sizes and different frames for each option would take up ten times the floor space.”
