So, is this the second car vacuum I've bought in the last year? The last one (a different brand from a different seller) proved to have decent suction when you put your hand over the hole, but ultimately failed to get all the little bits of sand and dirt off my floor. It was a disappointment. When I opened it I feared the same thing. On, the suction performance performed well in a manual test, but to my surprise, it actually performed slightly better than the other brand. This one has all the dirt, dust, pebbles, etc. to get. I had to empty the bin several times, but I didn't vacuum my car all winter, and the pup was digging in the dirt like he was paid to do it. I'll admit when I opened the package I was less than thrilled to see that it had to be plugged into an extra outlet (or cigarette lighter hole for those of us who grew up in the 90's) but the cord did is insanely long (it was easy to reach to my trunk to bypass the car from the outside) and the plug power is probably why it works as well as it does now (my old one was battery operated). place so I wasn't sure I got it right the first few times but it kept working so I guess I did. Overall I am satisfied with this product. My husband is far from happy, but only because he can now clean my car from home. Haha! I'll keep it in the trunk so it's always handy.
