I bought this unit, PD4645V, to replace what I have on my fifth wheel. Installation was fairly easy considering how poorly designed the factory electrical system is. It comes with a new switch panel that I used. Distance The board has an LED and a "Loadmaster" button. It is inconvenient, as it is usually hidden by the control panel cover. Take the Loadmaster's pendant and hang it somewhere easy to access. But of course the hanging end of the cable (phone plug) doesn't fit into this converter (Molex connector, similar to a floppy drive power plug), so you'll have to cut and solder a bit to make it work. Google "PD92201_for_PD4600.pdf" to find instructions. The main problem I have with this converter is that it squeaks a little when there is no 12V load. Turn on any 12v light and it will go away. Except when you have LED bulbs that make it squeak even more. I'm going to do something to make this happen automatically with a regular 12V lightbulb.
