Very weak water jet

My old cheap universal nozzle on my regular garden hose gives more water flow than this thing. So it's not the water pressure in the faucet. Whether you open the valve wide on this nozzle or not, you'll either get a faint jet that doesn't even extend a foot, or a faint jet, maybe 3 feet. If it weren't for the cheap price I would have sent it back.
