I got them so big after reading reviews that they are smaller than the size chart and different from what a reviewer with the same size and the same weight as I said. she bought, bought a big. I'm 5ft 6in and about 155lbs with a slightly muscular build, for reference. The large one was a bit big and doesn't sit securely around my waist. It's not the end of the world, but I'd rather be average; Of course that's not Kerrit's fault as according to her sizing chart I would be average. These tights are very comfortable, fit well under field boots and will keep your feet really cool in the heat of summer, a must have for those hot and humid summers on Lake Michigan. I have to take a star off (at least) because I've only ridden them a few times and they're already starting to curl up in one of my knees and I'm afraid they'll be punctured soon.
