Review on Redi Shade 36x72 Light Filtering Pleated Paper Shades, 6-pack - White by Bridgett Walls

I LOVE these shades! EASY TO INSTALL LOOKS AWESOME!

. I was VERY careful with these shades because I had never bought a "paper shade" in my life and wasn't sure if the paper would be strong enough. After reading the reviews I decided to give it a try. I ordered 3M Scotch Heavy Duty 1" x 50" mounting tape with tints because I wanted to make sure they would stick. I was able to cut them to odd sizes. I needed. There are 4 windows in my dining room - 2 in the middle are much larger than the windows on the sides of the 2 large ones. I was able to cut a lampshade in half and use these 2 pieces in each side window and I was able to cut about 4 inches more for another 2 to fit in the middle windows. They were easy to install. Measure your window, cut with sharp scissors or exacto knife. Peel off the strip covering the adhesive strip <I did this and then added 3M double sided tape> then just stick them on. These curtains, all 6, come with clips that you attach to the bottom of the shade to pull it up and down without touching the paper. It took me an hour to wear all 4 shades and I'm 100% disabled so I don't usually do that. But I was excited to see them and didn't want to wait until my husband got home from work to do it. I am really very impressed with these shades. You look great! You would never know it was paper unless you walked up to it and touched it. This is definitely high quality paper. I had these ugly, ugly plastic mini blinds that I paid a fortune for because they were such odd sizes, and those paper shades look like I spent even more! They don't block the light, but they filter it. Now I have more light than with plastic mini blinds. Very nice "glowing" light. I love that there is no rope/handles, they are cordless. They offer complete privacy (no one can see in or out) without blocking the light. What I like best is #1 - the price is perfect! Where can you get 6 shades for less than 40€? And #2 - I can do it myself! And fast! And without outside help. And for someone like me who needs someone to help with pretty much everything - that's really cool for me! Be sure to try it!
