An ombre effect with markers alone is great, but dip the tip in one of the ecolines.

I've been looking into this lately. I have this set and just some liquid Ecoline watercolors and the possibilities are endless. The ombré effect with markers is great in itself, but dip the tip in one of Ecoline's watercolors and you open up a whole new range of possibilities. I wish my local Blick shop would sell them individually because I'd love to get more brushes and watercolors and Revain's prices are obscene. Markers at Blick are $2.71 each, watercolors are just $4.24, and some are over $10 on Amazon.
