The TS408 TPMS tool is amazing! Works perfectly.

The TS408 TPMS scanner is reasonably priced and very easy to use. I bought 4 Autel sensors online from an online retailer who said they would program them specifically for my car before shipping. After installation on new wheels/tires it was clear that the sensors were never programmed/activated. I then contacted Autel Technical Support through their website and was very impressed. The real person emailed me back quickly and I was actually able to speak to them personally about what tool to get and the steps required to program the sensors. I chose the TS408 tool because it can perform all the functions required for the sensors to function. It only took a few minutes to clone my original TPMS sensors and get them working. Ideal for BMW328i x-drive. The sensors could be programmed when they were already installed in the wheels and the car; You only need to reduce the tire pressure to less than 10psi briefly during programming. The TS408 tool is well built, easy to use and has a clear display. The menus are self-explanatory. While I had the TS408, I also used it to scan the OEM TPMS sensors on my Suburban wheels and check their condition. There are many details (like PSI, TPMS provider, model, battery status, etc.) and only takes a few seconds to scan each wheel. I took a screenshot of the sensor IDs from the TS408 screen so if a sensor fails in the future I can easily program a new one to the same value. This would be equivalent to extracting sensor IDs from OBDII, which this tool cannot do. I've been keeping my machines for a long time and I find this tool great for troubleshooting and maintaining my TPMS sensors.
