The other reviews that I read stated that this dress was loose, in a 1920s flapper style. I odd not find this to be entirely the case. With both the dress and the crochet dress on, it does look like that, but seeps ratels it is a little small and unusual. The dress part looks a little liked a nightgown on its own. This will look good at the evening event I am going to wear it to, but I would feel very awkward wearing this to a daytime event, as it would be more apparent that it is a bit costumes. In a dimly lit event it does the trick, and looks like a dress right out of the roaring 20s. I was a little disappointed in this dress for the price, but I will keep it and wear it.
