The other reviews that I read stated that this dress was loose, in a 1920s flapper style. I odd not find this to be entirely the case. With both the dress and the crochet dress on, it does look like that, but seeps ratels it is a little small and unusual. The dress part looks a little liked a nightgown on its own. I weigh 140 lbs and I'm 5'7" so I ordered a M/L it is a perfect fit. The dress is fully lined so nothing is visible underneath. I may wear a half slip because it's what I'm use to wearing but not at all necessary. The only thing I find could be better is the crochet cream top is a little lose on the sides but I can fix that. The crochet top is a cream color not white as I thought. Just a really cute dress. For the price it was a great purchase.

The dress as a whole was cute. The lace overlay was cut crooked in the v neck so it didn’t quite look right. (It made it look like I had crooked boobs!) The crocheted vest was a little big so it poked out on the sides. It needs to be taken in on each side. Other than that it was a hit for the Downton Abbey themed tea that I wore it to.

I really like this dress! It is soft and flows nicely. It isn’t too clingy or stiff. It washes well, too. I gave it 4 stars only because I wanted it to be a little longer. I am 5’6” and it hits above my ankles. Most people would probably like the length. I just wanted it to be below the ankles.

I think the quality is good. I wear a misses 10-12. After reading the reviews, I ordered a lg/Xlg. The dress fits, but is high waisted and they should have allowed more room in the over vest for bust & midriff etc.,as it is going snugly over the dress! Thought I could wear just the dress w/o over vest, but the dress has an elastic-gathered empire-ish top that does nothing for ones shape. I will see if someone in my family might like it rather than the trouble of sending it back.

I was looking for a 1920s themed dress for a costume and thought this might work. Unfortunately, there were several things that I didn't like about the dress. The green fabric of the dress is actually thin lace and therefore see-through so I would have had to find a camisole in a color and with straps that worked with the dress. As other buyers have said, this item has a sheer top. I wouldn't really call it 1920's.it has an empire waist. If you're buying it just for a '20's party or Gatsby party, look elsewhere.I bought the M/L. I was nervous because I'm a size 10 pants, and wear a 38G cup bra. It's a tight fit, especially up top, but it does fit!

I am a size 10-12 US and the large fits fine. The top overlay would be snug to too tight if I was any larger, but the dress is lovely. You will need a full slip under as noted in other reviews, but you can wear the top separately with a tank under,etc later on. I am loving that this will be a different "roaring 20's" look than most everyone else for my event. Who needs fringe? :)
