BENEFITS: • Very effective at catching grease and splatters, preventing messes on stovetops, worktops and floors when cooking/sautéing with vegetable oil or sauces, especially bacon • No need for a splatter cap that can cause damage on the pan as more heat is retained inside • Dramatically reduces cleaning time • Splatter guard, although flexible silicone, is strong enough to hold a spatula (at least plastic) inside without dislodging the bottom edges of the guard • Guard vor splash is flexible enough to be easily placed on a dishwasher rack or folded for storage • "IN” mark indicates which side to use for interior work • Stains and spills are easily removed with dish soap and the sponge does not contain any greasy residues • The silicone is thicker, which increases the service life t CONS: • The perimeter takes up little space as the protective cover slides outwards rather than straight up • The bottom edges don't fit snugly against the inside of the pan, allowing small pieces of food (eg. e.g. minced meat) get stuck under the inner edges of the guard • Only suitable for pans with sloping sides, not suitable for pans with straight sides • Large surface makes cleaning difficult
