My child immediately liked this scooter. We had never owned a scooter before so there was a bit of a learning curve for us, but it was a lot of fun. The blue edging at the top of the grip is so cute and I think it's a bit protective so kids can't hit their face on the handlebars so easily. There is also a good profile in the foot area for better grip. Assembly is easy: plug in the handlebar stem and then use a screwdriver to attach the blue one at the top. The only feature that could improve this is the ability to adjust the handlebar height to suit the individual rider, but the handlebars aren't adjustable on this model. We practiced inside on the carpet, but soon it will be outside. Great for an introductory scooter.
