MUCH SAFER to use than metal. TIP: Always use on a cold grill
Snaps perfectly; no problem with the fit. It's possible that other reviewers had an older model of the wand that they replaced. I bought my wand from SteinMart in 2018 but the bristles melted because the grill was too hot. I didn't want to throw everything away so this was a good and inexpensive option. Now I'll wait for the grate to cool down to clean it. This is MUCH SAFER than a metal scraper which can leave tiny fibers on the grate and get into your food. I love that I can take it out of the stick and soak it or throw it in the dishwasher. Will buy more replacements!
