Review on Jonard JIC 375 Stripper Handle Length by Bruce Cavett

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very nice for the price.

These strippers perform well on both singlemode and multimode fibers. Contrary to some other reviews, I didn't have to adjust my pair at all. (The only minor issue I had was stripping some of the exposed fibers in very cold outside conditions (near freezing) and breaking the fiber when attempting to strip. However, I think this has more to do with the fiber being more brittle is in the cold; when I heated it it worked fine without breaking. The only thing I can think of is that the metal of the tool might shrink enough from the cold to make the stripping too tight. Definitely is working in the room the temperature environment or warm things up and you'll be fine.) I was able to hold the tool at an angle of about 45 degrees to the fiber rather than directly perpendicular to it. I definitely recommend this tool and will buy it again if the need arises. It seems very good quality for the price and not the usual Chinese "junk" that seems to be flooding the market.
