The lamp lasts two weeks after replacement.
Bought this type of bulb from a halogen bulb dealer a few years ago and had similar experiences with premature burnout. Contacted this seller and he sent me four new bulbs and said that sometimes they get a bad batch of bulbs. It should be a similar situation. I bought four lamps and will see if the other three last more than two weeks. By the way, I'm very careful not to touch lightbulbs with my bare hands, so that can't be the reason why they break so easily.
