You can buy almost any inverter that will power/charge laptops, cameras and other small electronic devices. How about a 250W portable heater? Those little inverters will turn it on and off for a second or you'll blow a few fuses. That's why I bought this. If I'm stuck somewhere because my radiator exploded, or I just can't use my car heater, this comes in handy. I tested this inverter and it definitely runs at 500w continuously. No problem if you run the 250w heater for at least 30 minutes. The fan turned on, so I sweated a little. When you connect this inverter with a low battery, it will scream with a red indicator light, otherwise a green light will show that it is ready. Comes with 2 different cables. A straight battery connector with clips and one that you plug into your cigarette lighter socket. I highly recommend this product. Don't let the cheap price fool you.
