Review on 🔧 Optimized 1/2-inch Carburetor Spacer by Edelbrock - Model 8723 by Troy Simpson

Easy installation. No leakage. I don't know if that really helps as I also replaced my crappy old carburetor with an Edelbrock 500 at the same time, but it certainly won't hurt. My truck starts perfectly even in the hottest August weather. (A new carb helps!) If you have trouble starting in hot weather, this is STRONGLY recommended. I have a 1/2" and it works fine while still giving enough clearance to close the hood. Worth trying because it's cheap and easy to install. I had to buy it online because of all the local parts stores said that there is no such product and they had never heard of such an issue.While this statement does not help explain the quality of the product, it is important to be aware of availability.Don't be fooled misled by know-it-alls.
