
I know some electronics communities hate them, but I think they're a godsend. For easy one-off personal projects, just design it on a regular breadboard and when you're done solder it identically to that board and it should work pretty much the same as it does on a breadboard. It's a lot quicker than trying to create a custom board, and a lot easier to make changes when needed. These particular boards seem to be pretty well made. Traces/vias are numbered the same as on a regular breadboard. I didn't have any markings and they take solder well.
