That solved the problem perfectly! We have a deep Italian worktop with a microwave hanging over it. All the electrical stuff I used needed outlets, was always cluttered and messy. I installed this very attractive blue and white block (Italian tiles white and blue) on the tiled wall at the back of this stand and plugged in my hand mixer, blender base, Braun multifunction block and can opener. in. There is another free fork for something extra. It's just great to have everything tucked away in the back and when I need one of the things I just slide it forward and it's ready to turn on. And what you see actually looks attractive and not ugly like a stripper used to do. I wish I could think of other places to use one of these because it's such a beautiful device. I recommend it for a wall if you don't have a big enough surface for it.
