I've tried and tried to use this lame thing with several bread tests. From durum boules to two-hour baguettes. No matter what I do, I can never get a good result. I tried the dough raw and added varying amounts of flour to help it stick. But I don't care, it just pulls whatever dough I've used it on instead of giving me a straight deep cut. Even my cheap little plastic plate that came from a Battan kit works better. But I was hoping that lameness would be the answer to my clutch problems. Maybe I got an inferior batch of blades. I got to the point where I tried to cut the paper with a blade and it just ripped it up instead of making clean cuts.
