When I received the bush, I was excited to try it out. I am a senior who recently let me hair go from very short hair styles to now having med-long, baby fine hair. I have not styled, blown it dry, or curled it in 3 years. Just air dried it and wore it up. I wanted to use this brush to put a little curl/curves on the ends to get rid of the frizziness. So after shampooing and conditioning it, I blew it almost dry, and then started using the brush on the ends. All went well until I got tired. It was my bedtime, so I decided to stop and try it again another time.While I watched tv for a few minutes before going to bed, I thought maybe I could get a little curl if I just pulled all my hair back and rolled all the ends around the brush while sitting under a ceiling fan. I leaned my neck back into the couch to hold the brush in place. When it came time to remove the brush, I was shocked and horrified to find out it had totally locked around my hair in a serious tangled mess. And I had no one to help me get it out.I had no idea something so innocent looking as a brush could cause so much stress for me and damage to my hair. After two hours of trying every way I could think of to get it out, I finally succeeded. But not before I lost a good handful of hair in the process caused from breakage. WOW! What an experience I never want to repeat!However, it wasn’t the brush’s fault. I was mine. Because I was inexperienced at working with long hair, and I had no idea how easily long hair can get seriously tangled around a round brush. This is a great product when used correctly! And I am going to keep it. But I have to admit that I am somewhat afraid to use it again.
