They work great! in building materials
I have a super thin carpet in my living room that has no backing on the underside. I used them all over the outside edge and corners to keep them in place. They work very well and are easy to install. I had to take them off several times. I always take it off the floor from the side and leave it on the carpet. After wiping the side of the bottom with a damp paper towel and letting them air dry for a few minutes, they re-tacked to the hardwood floor like they were brand new. No stains on the floor and no damage to my flooring.
