Review on 🔧 GM Genuine Parts Trunk Lid Release Switch D1496E by Motogp Portillo

I installed this on a 2005 Chev. Malibu LT when the original failed and it works fine. I was able to get by without removing the entire door panel by simply peeling off the bottom after removing the 2 plastic fasteners and 2 torx screws. It took me a while to lay on my back on the floor trying to get my hands and a tool to unlock the old switch while still holding a flashlight so I could see what I was doing. But it worked, all the work took about 20 minutes. I recommend this replacement, good price.
