I like different places on the carpet like gas station, school, farm, airport etc and I really wanted to love this carpet but it doesn't lie perfectly flat so can our road signs don't have to be everywhere. In addition, due to the texture, small wheels get stuck in the fiber. It's fine, but our machines with a rollback don't work on them. My 2 year old certainly doesn't mind but I think it will be a problem when he's a bit older and frustrated. I may be looking for a rubber mat. This mat is huge and the roads are nice and big, so put the little toy cars right in the lanes. My son was very excited to play with his cats on the mat and roll around in different places.
