Review on πŸ§₯ FARVALUE Winter Quilted Boys' Puffer Jacket - Clothing by Radney Taala

Fur. No Quality

For the price I paid for this coat I can only expect a certain level of quality. I can't expect better materials and workmanship. Because of this fact, I would rate the cost 3 rather than 2 stars. That being said, despite the poor quality material, I believe the build quality could have been a bit better. Upon arrival, this coat was covered with tons of fiberfill and protruding threads. Can threads be cut? Of course I can, but if the manufacturer saves on material, he should at least compensate by cutting the threads at the end of the structure. There is a huge stain on the right arm which is a different color in at least one photo of this jacket but was not visible in the photos of the black jacket my son chose. I recommend you look at each photo of each color before purchasing this jacket. While the padding feels soft and most likely windproof as they suggest, I don't feel this jacket will suffice living in New England, USA. My son reports that the material is very itchy. He really wanted to love that jacket, so I'm sure it wasn't an apology because "he didn't like what mom picked" - no, he picked that jacket himself. I mention this because it's entirely possible that your child, like mine, would prefer to wear short sleeves regardless of the weather. One last note: the two chest pockets are not real pockets, they are just zips that lead to nowhere and the main zip on the front is of very poor quality and difficult to close. It's entirely possible that applying a small bar of soap or pencil lead will help, but for $50+ I'd rather just have a quality zipper. Overall it wasn't terrible but I was hoping for more and ended up sending this coat back.
