I was going to buy a screwdriver set but decided to try bits first. I'm glad I did. They don't go well with screws for sockets etc. They are the correct shape but are too blunt/thick and don't fit well. Looks like they stripped the screws, so I didn't use them after the first few tries. It is better to use a good quality Phillips or flat head screwdriver/bit. I want this concept to be used with sharp, well-defined edges that easily fit into the screw. Something like a Wiha or Wera bit. I was torn between an insulated 3 piece set from Milwaukee, one of which was an ecx, and a 6 piece insulated screwdriver set from Wera for a similar price. It helped me pick the Wera, but I'd go with the Milwaukee if it worked the way it was supposed to.
