This is perfect. I feel a lot better leaving my phone plugged in overnight knowing it won't charge an already fully charged battery. The button works great when I need to charge right away. It works like this: Every half hour, a check is made to see whether what is connected is actually being used. If it is, it will charge and check every half hour until it's full. Then it turns off and checks again every half hour to see if it needs to be turned back on.
