Review on Walker Ultra EPA 16564 Direct Fit Catalytic Converter for Exhaust System by Joseph Cvetkovic

Perfect match for my 2010 2.5 Outback. The original front pipe broke and didn't know until it came off completely. Didn't want to spend 700€ for OEM. The right Walker pipe made things quiet again and also increased gas mileage. I had to use glass mats for thermal protection. I didn't like having a cat without anything so close to other plastic melting things. 4 stars because some of the flange to pipe connections felt a bit flimsy. I had to pick out a few awkward things. Sharp edges in the exhaust flow are not such a good idea. The cat seems to be a heavy construct. I'm not sure which is more restrictive. Like I said, the gas mileage has increased by about 3mpg, so I'm happy.
