I think this dog playpen is very cute. I haven't tried the outdoor playpen yet. Therefore, I cannot comment on his strength in this role. So far it has only been used indoors. It is not durable if just laid on a carpet. My 3 month old (7 year old) puppy loves to jump into walls and break them or knock over the playpen while she's indoors (like it's a game). Since camping is a summer activity, I'm curious to see how it will hold up when attached to the ground with the poles provided. My puppy quickly outgrew the playpen. Now it's almost like a toy box. or "play" so she rolls it up. I hope it serves its purpose outdoors this summer as I love the mesh sides and the detachable zipper to keep bugs out. I have no regrets buying this dog playpen but be aware that depending on the size of your dog you won't get much out of it. Your pup can outgrow it quickly.
