Revainrating 2 out of 5

Rugged, lots of ports, easy to use but lots of false bugs

to use on my desktop for various power measurement needs. Unfortunately, plugging it into any outlet in my office results in an instant beep as it detects a loss of power even when nothing is plugged in. My entire office is connected to a large central uninterruptible power supply, so I was worried about an electrical problem. When an Eaton UPS technician stopped by for a periodic check, he made sure everything was within tolerance using Fluke's slicker gauges. computers inside. I can connect 5 identical perfectly working computers and two of them throw an error and the others don't. I'd love to use these extension cords in a lot of places, but I don't need something that regularly gives me false alarms when it comes to electrical issues.

Pros
  • Backlit LCD
Cons
  • I don't remember, but there was something I originally bought
