Disappointed with pillows I've bought in the past, I was hesitant to purchase this pillow. However, if you have severe pain that I have endured for several months, I was tempted to try this pillow. My worst pain is when driving as I have L4-L5 lumbar stenosis. In this case, I feel sharp pains in my lower leg and my leg feels like a nail has been driven into it. Usually my pain level was 10 between 1 and 3 miles, in this case I had to stop the car and run away from the pain. When I used it in my car the results were impressive. Although this didn't completely eliminate the pain, my leg no longer felt like a nail had been driven in and I can ride without stopping. Pain level decreased from (6 to 10) to (1 to 4). Not perfect, but life saving. I no longer have to rely on others to control me.
