This rating is based on three aspects of this product: product quality, product installation and product performance. Product Quality: This is the third CAI system I have installed. Compared to the other two, the quality is excellent. The main reason this product got 4 stars is because the instructions weren't 100% clear and the transmission breather cover was also missing. Luckily I was able to replace the missing part. Product Installation: Installation wasn't difficult once you are familiar with the tools. The hardest part was getting the intake pipe through the hole in the front fender. Grinding and cutting of the inner wing was required to allow the air intake to pass (another reason for the four star rating). If you don't want to change anything in stock, this system isn't for you. Performance: I didn't notice any gain at lower rpm, but you can feel the difference up to 1500 rpm near the redline. If I had to estimate the power increase I would say 3-5 hp. But the sound is quite pleasant. In summary, this is a great system that needs better packaging quality control and more detailed instructions. If you want 100% return of everything, this system is not for you. If you want some growl under the hood and a little boost in performance, add it to your cart.
