I always wanted a PTZ to cover a wide area while retaining flexibility, but was staying away due to high cost or lack of quality. When I saw a few videos on this unit I was immediately intrigued. I decided to buy it and am completely satisfied. My Blue Iris loves it. Installation was very easy since it replaced an existing cam. The infrared is just OK, but it's to be expected. If you want more coverage at night you may want to use an external IR illuminator.2/12/2021 update: Camera still going strong. Zero issues. I just purchased a second one for the backyard.10 month update 4/15/2020: camera is still going strong. It performed mostly flawless through the Chicago winter. It occasionally struggles to focus but eventually catches up. Still recommended. Understand the limitations (no tracking, no support unless purchased from dealer, etc.) and you'll be pleased.5/26/2020 update: my wife washed our vinyl siding and the camera took in some water. There were a few droplets inside the dome that were causing a blurry image. I easily dismantled the camera and let it dry. Working perfect after that. I am assuming the water got in due to being high pressure, because this thing has taken storms and come out 100% dry. Still great in my opinion.
