Review on 🌶️ Trudeau Single-Hand Mill, Chrome by Lori Williams

I was looking for a single-handle grinder for our kitchen. My wife and I had three different pepper mills and they all worked with two hands. I initially liked the design of this product so I bought one in white for coarse sea salt and one in black (no longer in production). Both worked intermittently. We tried different types of salt and found the best coarse sea salt. But even then the mill stops working. I fiddled with the rudeness setting and shook like nothing was really working. The pepper mill worked reasonably well for a few months but became increasingly difficult to use. The pepper mill recently broke. I disassembled the device and it's obvious that cheap plastic parts were to blame. I wanted to see if I could keep up with the set. My wife was totally disappointed with the product but I ordered this chrome one anyway. I thought maybe she overdid it and got some "Rave" ground pepper. It hasn't worked since day one. It doesn't grind at all, even after we just removed the pepper from the broken grinder that worked before. Incidentally, "chrome” here means chrome-plated plastic. Don't believe for a second that there are more metal parts in this product than four screws, a shaft and a grinding element. Everything else between your hand and the pepper is plastic. Never. Don't waste your time with this product. I had three and they are all dogs.
