I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the package to find the battery included! So that was a bonus! It was very easy to use and the instructions are very clear. When I read previous reviews it is pointed out that the display can only be read from the front, but this is not the case with a fresh battery. My only advice is to go slow! Once the viewfinder is up against the wall, move it from left to right as instructed, but if you move it too fast it will miss the change, so go slow! Arrived at just the right time as I'm in the process of remodeling my bedroom!
