Nicely packaged, easy to assemble, tested on my son's cell phone and very sturdy. To mount this holder, unscrew the grip behind the phone holder, place it on the gooseneck, place the ball in the grip and tighten the grip. To adapt the base to your cup holder, there is a leg extension knob to keep it stable in the cup holder. It also comes with a 1 foot charger so you can keep it in your car and never worry about running out of power. The part that holds the phone isn't spring-loaded, but there is a knob that needs to be tightened to keep the phone in place. This phone holder comes in handy when you use your phone as a GPS navigator and free your hands when someone calls while driving. Remember to stop if you need to make a call and keep your hands free. I am very happy with this purchase and will be working with this company again.
