Review on πŸ”Œ Custom 4-Pin Trailer Wiring Harness for Hyundai Tucson - CURT 56348, Black by Patrick Keita

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It wasn't a difficult setup.

Watch a YouTube video on how to install and a short video on how to remove the tail light from the car. I have a 2013 Tuscon and I removed the taillights. I did not remove the plastic behind the rear wheel. I just took a chalk line and stuck the end in the hole you see when you lay the tail light on the ground. I hooked the wires to the end and threaded them through the hole with the chalk line. After connecting both sides, I found the fault lines that run under the driver's side and planned to use their paths and holders for my power cord. You will notice that in the area from the driver's seat floor pan to under the driver's seat, there is a plastic channel that the tear lines run through. Start at the end closest to the front as it is narrower. Pass a power cable through. It's hard to do, but it can be done. Once you get it, run it back to the power converter. Now go back under the driver's seat and thread the other end through the brake line brackets. I think there were 3. There is an extra hole to put the wire through. The brake lines go straight to the battery. No problem. Several people said the wires weren't long enough. Maybe the company read those reviews and made changes because I had a lot of them. I had about 4 feet left on the power cord. The braid had a lot of extras, and there were enough on the taillights. I really liked how easy it was to install. The power cord was actually thicker than I expected. Good product!
