You don't know it's there until you step on it, and then it quickly responds with a deeper, raspy sound (much like opening an old 4-barrel). I also ordered a Borla Performance exhaust system (P/N 11821) and I can't wait to get both and put them together! If you're thinking of getting some more "HIB" then get this product! You will not be disappointed! Well I promised a review after installing Borla on my non-turbo Veloster and yes it sounds great! Not overly aggressive at idle (as also mentioned in another review) but when you press it down with your foot it makes a growl that you'll love! I took it to a local mechanic who installed it in about 15 minutes. Borla has perfected this exhaust system. In combination with the K&N intake tuning (which is also made especially for the Veloster) I am very satisfied with both products. I haven't had a chance to test it with this setting yet, so I don't know how much extra HP I'm getting now, but I have no problem speeding it up.
