🚀 Boost Your Hyundai Veloster’s Horsepower with K&N Cold Air Intake Kit (1.6L L4, 2011-2017, 69-5304TS) Review

Feels like I added 10 horsepower to this car. This is a great product. Definitely increases your PS. eliminates the residue. Can also sound fantastic.

I'm a mechanic by trade but installation was easy, even a non-mechanical person could easily install this if they followed the instructions. This mod gives you quick throttle response and better overall gas mileage, it also gives you nice engine sounds when you accelerate hard, but it's all about the gear head.

Very easy to install. Don't be afraid to push and pull on it to line up the fresh air intake screws, the metal flexes at the baffle so you can get everything in place. Not sure about performance yet, but I'm sure it affects the Veloster's throttle response a lot and makes a very obnoxious noise when you really step on the gas. The sound alone is worth it.

I love my Veloster but the lag was driving me crazy. I was glad to know that this is a common problem and can be easily fixed. Yes, $300 is expensive, but it's definitely worth it. My car actually wants to get up and drive away (and the noise it makes is just an added bonus). I can't say much about the improvement in fuel economy as I've always driven my car on rough roads, but I can say that the performance has increased by 100%!

Installed in my 2016 Veloster. I definitely recommend it. I was very satisfied when I started the car after installation. I immediately noticed the sound, the difference is big. I also have a manual transmission car. I found that I could hold a higher rev gear without feeling like I was overtaxing the car. Now driving looks sportier. I've also noticed that my gas mileage has increased. This is a must have for a Veloster!

Wanted to see if this would eliminate the throttle lag on our 2013 Veloster and couldn't be happier. The lag is gone and the performance seems a bit better, the gas mileage is about the same, maybe worse if I keep pressing :). It's definitely louder than stock and gives the car a nice growl under acceleration, but it's not entirely quiet at cruising speed. The price may be steep, but this is a very well built, solid heat shield system that only took about 30 minutes to install and was a breeze.

Absolute MUST for the Veloster. The OEM throttle lag was killing me, but with that intake system. It changes everything. When driving in normal mode, the sound isn't much different, but when you switch to sport mode and step on the gas, you hear a delicious, vicious roar that can be heard for blocks. You don't know it's there until you step on it, and then it quickly responds with a deeper, raspy sound (much like opening an old 4-barrel).
