Review on πŸ”₯ 84-Inch Rutland Grapho Glas Woodstove Gasket for Hydraulic Systems, Pneumatics & Plumbing by Scott King

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It is convenient to use for glass replacement.

Easy to use. I wasn't sure what type of gasket was originally used for the missing glass on my old wood stove. I bought it because it is stretchy. Worked great and was easy to install. I just cleaned the old surface by scraping with a screwdriver and rubbing with alcohol and paper towels a few times. I didn't finish it perfectly. Then a thin layer of caulk and I wrapped this rope. He stayed in place and made corners with no problem. Literally within an hour of receiving my glass I had both parts installed as well as a new cable seal. An hour later I was enjoying the fire. I ordered glass from onedayglass.com. Since I had frames I was able to measure my exact size. They sell ceramic jar that can be cut into custom sizes. My oven had a jagged corner on every part, which is not possible with tempered glass. The oven is old, there were no original spare parts. This website has presented many options for glass. All I had to do was select the cut corners, then specify that I only had one cut corner, and then carefully measure the required dimensions. They say to allow for plus or minus 1/16 of an inch, and the tips are to allow for 1/32 on each edge (1/16 on each side), so I made my measurements to match 1/16 . went. It worked. Maybe someone can help fix the stove.

Cons
  • Not bad, but...
