I ordered these shoes as slippers but not slippers. They work great as such. I have no idea how they'll keep running or holding on, but my guess probably isn't too good. These aren't $150 sneakers, but they're not trying to be either. They are relatively easy to put on and take off, very light and comfortable to wear at home or on the street with jeans. I mention that they are relatively easy to put on, which is why I say relatively easy. The last picture I uploaded is a closeup of the inside of the shoe and you can see that there is an elastic strap that attaches the inside of the shoe to the tongue. You must be careful not to catch your foot in this band when putting it on. It doesn't really matter much, but I just wanted to show that getting dressed is a little more "work" than slipping around in flip flops or sneakers or whatever. The only thing I would mention is that the outsole of the shoe has no real tread and the rubber is more slippery than grippy. I'm sure they will still be slippery on my hardwood floors until they get a few scuffs on the bottom. In addition, they are very comfortable. I don't know how long they will last, but as long as they don't run out they're pretty good!
