The written instructions weren't great but the pictures provided made the installation very clear. I found it easier to first place the magnet, turn on and align the projector before attaching it to the door. The reason for this is that attaching it to my door caused the magnet to be too high to connect to disconnect. The second time the projector was too low and got stuck in the door. So if you can, close the door, place the magnet and level the projector with the light on. When the light turns off, you know it's lined up correctly. Then, with the flip closed, place the projector in your chosen location. .The fire dragon is great at night and complements the theme of my car. Very happy with the purchase.
