I've tried several brands of compostable garbage bags and these are by far the worst I've tried. Splitting bags with anything other than precise accuracy resulted in holes in the bags, simply pushing the bag over the edge of the bin caused the bag to break, the ribbons fell out when I tried to tie the bag, from I threw away most of them. once because every one I tried had a hole. I once threw away 6 bags before finding one that had no rips or holes. This is no exaggeration. Despite being thicker than other brands, they definitely have significant design flaws. Save yourself money and frustration and try a different brand.
