The really cool thing about this Tivo Romio OTA (over the air).

I bought this box for $300. It was worth it! The really cool thing about this Tivo Romio OTA (Over the Air) is that if you have a regular Tivo box cable connected in another room over Wi-Fi or Over the Air ( get that). Connection to the OTA box. So, for example, if you want to watch a football game on cable TV "that you can't get live over OTA," just record it on the console and then go to where your OTA Romio is and open another device. column and watch the live recording. It's like having two Tivos connected by cable, with a cable subscription and no charge for the additional cable card. Spirit. No, it's understandable. I will never go back to total cable slavery. One of my two complaints is that even though my smart tv remotes were interchangeable, my OTA and Tivo box wired remotes weren't interchangeable. I had to call tech support to program one of the Tivo remotes to work with both boxes. My second problem was again with Tivo remotes (IMHO major), you have to switch back and forth from Tivo remotes to TV remotes to control sources/inputs and audio commands. It's a real headache, especially when your goal, at least my goal, was to reduce the number of deleted numbers in my house. I called Tivo tech support again with this problem and the tech sarcastically replied that due to updates and constant changes of TVs in the market it would be useless if Tivo had to make their remotes specifically for the TV. Off topic, I would buy the Tivo Bolt if it was black instead of the Romio Premium cable box I got from Best Buy.
