This is my second R/O system. The first was about 10 years ago and had to pay a plumber, this one is much easier, you don't need plumbing skills just the ability to read. Asterisk because I really like it, but I have to point out 2 things: 1) There are 2 red pipes. A short one was already connecting the block at one end, and the longer one was connecting nothing. The instructions tell you to connect the red pipe first in one place and then in the second place, but they refer to 2 different red pipes. If you don't look at the water flow diagram first, you may wire it wrong (even if it's obviously wrong).2). Saddle connection of the drain pipe. Of course line up the hole on the seat/tube with the hole you drilled in the drain tube, but it could potentially shift later on as there is no way to absolutely keep it in place. Of course it's tight and it takes some effort to move, but for example your wife put something in the cupboard under the sink and pushed it away and the pipe could move and now you don't have a drain. Otherwise, the water tastes great, albeit clearly no mineral taste, but pure water.
