Review on MikroTik RB941-2nD RouterBoard hAP Lite: Affordable 2.4GHz Home Access Point by Micha Spodymek ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I do not cease to rejoice at the purchase, a very good deal!

For the first time I encountered MikroTik and was stunned by the functionality! No router stands in comparison - it's a network computer. Among the shortcomings - a weak Wi-Fi transmitter. If a standard apartment is a three-ruble note, then you need to put it in the central room, so that it would normally cover (as soon as I didn’t fine-tune the wireless network, I achieved only 60 speeds from 100 Mbps from the provider, and then in the same room with a router. For example, my old Asus covered the entire apartment with a bang. Everything is fine on the ports of the MikroTik hAP lite tower! 100 Mbps - from the provider - 96 Mbps - for downloading - 90 Mbps - for uploading. For two months I load the router shamelessly (I'm testing) "Torrents, HD video. An IP set-top box TV, plus six gadgets on ports, everything pumps without a hitch. My conclusion is that for such money the best solution for the home, but not for those who need long-range Wi-Fi. MikroTik - I was struck by the functionality of setting up networks Even to the asus is no longer a foot)

Pros
  • Functional. Design. Price.
Cons
  • Weak WiFi
