Review on CarPlay Wireless Adapter Apple CarPlay Dongle - Upgrading Wired CarPlay to Wireless Connection with iPhone and Bonus Type C to A Converter by John Lewis

Cool idea to turn a wired carplay into a wireless one. I had high expectations for this item. Plugged in, paired and within seconds I was playing wirelessly. The controls were very responsive - there was no lag between the input on the car screen and the changes on my phone. Then I tried to make music. It was terrible. The music turns on and off every second. It was impossible to listen. I went into the settings (on the streaming adapter) and changed the quality from "DVD" to "CD". It helped a little. Sometimes I could hear a good minute of the music before it started cutting. This is very bad. I use the show almost exclusively for music, so this has gone from being a cool device to a useless piece of junk. If they could play music non-stop this would probably be a 5 star product. Now this is not so. Too bad.
