Review on 🚤 Seamander 3 Bow Bimini Top Boat Cover: Waterproof Sun Shade with Aluminum Frame & Rear Support Pole by Steven Stager

Be sure you were sent the correct parts before installing

First, let me say that this isn’t my first bimini that I’ve installed. What should have been a maximum 2 hour job turned into a whole day affair. First, the instructions are worse than what you get from IKEA: pictures that don’t match the parts you’re shipped (more on that later), and the diagram shows different tube placement than pictures of the finished product.Second, the quality control of packaging leaves a lot to be desired. We received two "right” J-tubes instead of left and right. This put one of the plastic connectors facing the wrong way, requiring us to drill out the rivet, flip the piece around, drill and rivet the piece back onto the J-tube. Additionally, we only received one rear support post, so we decided just to go with the straps.Once installed, leveled and the straps adjusted, thIs bimini shows the quality of materials used. It’s very solid, displaying no shake or shimmy in rough water, and there is no strap creep after long runs.
