I bought this for travel but it was better than what I had all the time and in my son's room so I started using it at home. We were also on a trip and used it there and moved to another room halfway through. It worked great! There were a few small gaps in a few places, but that was mainly because we were in an old room with double windows, which were pretty small, so I had to fold the fabric a bit in places. I could have sealed it completely with tape but it blocked about 98% of the light so I decided to leave it on. My son, used to total blackout, slept very well. I even moved into his room in the mornings when he got up to get some sleep! Today we came home for a trip and I was able to put him back by the window of his room in less than a minute, which is very important when you are traveling or returning from a trip and trying to put your baby to bed bring immediately!
