Recommended for camping, takeaway or home cooking

While this pan is good value compared to most other similar pans (like Coleman) it's a really good deal. It fits very snugly over a Coleman Triton 2 burner stove (with or without an igniter) and while it cannot be stored inside the oven, it packs neatly with the stove into the medium stove carry case. As for cooking, it works really well as long as you understand it's not cast iron. Because it's cast aluminum, it heats up very quickly and doesn't hold up well. Because of this, I can't think of a reason I would ever recommend using it at maximum heat on your grill or oven (camping). The only possible exception would be if you are preparing a steak and like medium or rare steaks and only want to sear them for a minute or two on each side. If you try to cook bacon or eggs on the same heat, you'll destroy them before you know it. The non-stick surface works really well for me, and I can usually clean it with a paper towel, which comes in handy when camping. . Just remember that you must use non-stick cookware or you will scratch the surface. I scratched mine but not much and it still works as I knew it to. The coating showed no chipping or flaking at all.
